Everett: Top 7 Places to Visit in Everett , Washigton

Share post:

Everett today is a major commercial hub along the busy shipping routes of Puget Sound. It is home to 110,000 people and is the county seat. However, Everett is one of the three major ports on Puget Sound. This means Everett was historically overlooked. Everett has seen a resurgence in popularity due to soaring property prices and the exploding population of Puget Sound. This is good news for both locals and newcomers.

Everett can be found right at the Puget Sound, where the Snohomish River meets with the sea. The residents have stunning views of the Olympic Mountains from the many parks along the Sound.

You can take a ferry to Jetty Island, just off the mainland, or you can stay in the city and enjoy Howarth Park directly on the water.

Mukilteo Lighthouse #1

Mukilteo will apply for this grant to start the first four phases of development at the 13-acre Mukilteo Lighthouse Park Site. It is located on Puget Sound at Puget End of Mukilteo. The work will include the restoration of the shorelands to a natural state that will stabilize sandy soils. It will also enrich habitat. The park will offer residents new and improved recreation opportunities. It also provides a crucial connection to the redevelopment efforts along the Everett and Mukilteo waterfronts.
