A township in Union County, New Jersey, Cranford is about 18 miles south of Manhattan. The population was 23,847 at the 2020 census. With so many options to choose from, why not make the city your home? Here are just a few reasons why. But first, let’s talk about its history. How long has Cranford been in existence? What are some of the most notable landmarks? Why should you choose Cranford for your new home?

After a difficult start, Cranford is a quaint town filled with Victorian architecture. Mary Smith, the town’s young resident, soon becomes part of the community. At first, Mary Smith is critical of the society, but as she grows more comfortable, she becomes more accepting of it. After all, she does admit to hoarding rubber bands and useless bits of string. But this does not prevent her from letting others into her life.

CRANFORD: This old residential town is spread out along the RAHWAY RIVER PARKWAY, a 7-mile trail that connects the city’s park system. It features summer sports facilities, a rifle range, and a picnic grove. In addition, the town has NOMAHEGAN PARK (nomahegan, from Noluns Mohegans), located at the northern end of the town.

There are a number of notable residents of Cranford. Two of the most well-known of them are: Victoria Napolitano, who was elected mayor of Moorestown, New Jersey at the age of 26. Another is Will Fries, who plays the offensive guard for the Indianapolis Colts in the National Football League. In addition to these notable individuals, the town is home to many famous people. For example, in 1891, a brutal homicide near the Manhattan waterfront resulted in the infamous “Jack the Ripper.” In the following year, the Algerian immigrant was found guilty of the crime, but he was released from prison after five years.
