Delta Flight Museum
Atlanta’s international airport, which has been the busiest since 1998, is where most people arriving by air will make their first stop.
Although most people are eager to get out of the arrivals area as soon as possible, there’s a good reason to stay. Two hangars from the 1940s are located on the airport’s northern side. These hangars are now the home of the Delta Flight Museum.
It is a permanent space where Delta Airlines celebrates 100 years of industry. Vintage posters are on display as well as a wide range of memorabilia. These posters are however dwarfed in comparison to the Spirit of Delta, a 767 Boeing plane that was for decades the company’s flagship airplane.
